Escape the Cape road trip to Cape Point

Today I woke up and the air was different today.  I got up early and had a delicious breakfast literally on the Atlantic Ocean.  During my delicious buffet style breakfast I sat and reflected on the road trip ahead of me today. We are about to escape the cape with a road trip to Cape Point.

Diary of a professional eater: Malay Dinner, Bo-Kaap, Cape Town

My time in the bush came to an end but the adventure continued.  We flew Federal Air back to Johannesburg and connect to the most beautiful city I’ve visited, Cape Town.  The bush was a great experience but I was excited to finally make it to the mother city.  I’m a Pisces and I carry a natural affinity to cities that touch a body of water.

South Africa Safari // Kruger Park // Singita

I’m truly excited to share my South Africa safari webisode with you.  Since I was a child I dreamed of going on safari and seeing wildlife in its natural habitat.  This experience was truly a dream come true!  I spotted the big 5 game: African elephant, rhino, cape buffalo, leopard and lion.

Safari game drives are more fun on foot

Over the course of four game drives I was able to see the big five in one day and the rest of the wildlife in Kruger Park.  During our game drives I spotted zebras, impalas, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, wart hogs, baboons, spiders, crocodile, tortoise and beautiful flora.

Who said the Big Five is hard to spot on safari?

The big five is a term coined by hunters because the African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard and Lion were the most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot.

Dinner with a South African leopard, main course…baby waterbuck

Hanging with Harley Davidson

Check out my visit to Harley Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to participate in their Black History Month presentation to Iron Elite.  Harley Davidson created the Iron Elite website to document and preserve the history and heritage of African-American riding culture.  Icons custom chopper creator Suga Bear was in attendance and members from different bike clubs like the Buffalo Solider.  I also visited House of Harley Davidson, one of the worlds largest dealers and received a entertaining introduction the retail side of Harley Davidson.  Check out the webisode and enjoy the show!
